Welcome to Cormall A/S

Cormall has developed, produced and sold machines and factory plant’s all over the world since 1961

 CORMAL WORK WITH

Sustainable development goals

In recent years, Cormall has analysed how we, too, can participate in fulfilling the UN’s 17 sustainable development goals, and where we can help to promote this in our daily work. We are not active on all points yet, nor are we in goal with some of them, but in other areas we are fare and well on-going. For the time being, we have chosen to work focused on the goals where we can contribute and which are relevant to our efforts:

7. - ENSURE THAT EVERYONE HAS ACCESS TO RELIABLE, SUSTAINABLE AND MODERN ENERGY AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE

Energy crisis:

Since the energy crisis in 1973, Cormall has worked with straw as an energy source, and has since developed and delivered machines and solutions for this, – initially primarily by using straw as a heating fuel.

2nd generation energy:

Since the beginning of the 00’s, we have been working on developing our machines for the production of second-generation energy, and have provided solutions for the use of straw in the production of biogas and for the production of bioethanol.

Technology leap – low energy:

At the same time, since 2008 we have been working on a ground-breaking new way of processing straw, which has halved energy consumption and at the same time doubled capacity. A development that we are proud of, and which has been achieved by changing the technology from fast-rotating knife rotors at 3000 rpm to slow-moving rakes at 65 rpm. Another major advantage of this technology leap has been a much smaller wear on machines and rotable parts, a reduced fire hazard from sparks and a significantly reducion of the noise level.

8. PROMOTING CONTINUOUS, INCLUSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH, FULL AND PRODUCTIVE EMPLOYMENT AND DECENT WORK FOR EVERYONE

10. REDUCE INEQUALITY IN AND BETWEEN COUNTRIES

Fair trade:

At Cormall, we trade globally and purchase semi-finished products from partners in countries with higher unemployment and lower incomes than our own, where we ensure that our suppliers help raise the wage level and pay above the wage that is otherwise paid in the area.

• 12. ENSURE SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION AND FORM OF PRODUCTION

Recycling technology:

Since the 1990s, Cormall has been supplying machines for recycling plastic and rubber, and since the beginning of the 00s, we have been providing solutions for recycling food for the production of animal feed.

In the 10s, we have developed and delivered technology for recycling old wind turbine blades

Recycling of machines:

As part of deliveries again and again, to the same target group, we take the used machine back. Some of the machines are renovated here and find a new use, others are partly recycled for new machines and the rest is handed over for raw material recycling.

The principle of recycling in new machines is that the component has only been statically affected and has not been exposed to dynamic abrasive influences, Example: A load-bearing beam does not get tired of carrying.

13. ACT FAST TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS CONSEQUENCES

We work to reduce our energy consumption in our production facilities and participate in a very ambitious energy project in our own local area: Project ZERO.

Project ZERO OBJECTIVE: 2029, the city’s CO2 emissions must be = 0

CORMALL

60th
anniversary

Since 1961, has Cormall has strived to specialize and improve the skills in what today constitute the company’s core services. This has resulted in good and robust products, which are adapted to our customers’ specifications, with a long service life. As an order-producing company, it is important to have a high degree of customer satisfaction, and can be measured by the many customers who, over generations, have bought our machines and plants over and over again. It is a testament to us, and an honour, to be able to fulfil this trust at every delivery. At Cormall, we are aware that quality pays off, which in everyday life is Cormalls guiding principle in relation to the choice of design and materials. When designing machines, we are aware and always seek to find the simple solutions that with low energy consumption meet the customer’s requirements, and by following the motto to, – keep it simple.
